Wednesday

I'm feeling very unoriginal tonight, I can't think of a title for my post. Most of my food today has been pretty boring. Wednesday is the day I eat dinner alone, so I wanted to make something I wouldn't typically have if my family was home. I made this recipe from recipezaar called "Cabbage for Those Who Dislike Cabbage". I don't dislike cabbage, but we don't buy it often and it's definitely not one of my favorite veggies. We had half a head left in the fridge from a recipe that we made a little while ago, and I wanted to use it before it went bad. It was actually really good! I was rather skeptical as I was looking over the ingredients, but it tastes a lot better that it seems it would. I fried some tofu in olive oil, and seasoned it with cinnamon and nutmeg. I figured that if the cabbage had brown sugar, then I could put sweet spices on my tofu. They well together quite well!

Along with a grilled cheese sammie and a Banana Manna weil bar

Tonight, I've had a clementine, several whole grain graham crackers (not just the one in the pic), and a glass of Holly Nog. I haven't been able to find Silk eggnog yet, and regular bottled eggnog creeps me out, so I jumped on this when I found it at the supermarket. It tastes a lot like regular eggnog, just not as thick. I'm getting nervous just thinking about having regular eggnog at Christmas time, but the taste will be so worth it! Later I plan on having a dark chocolate attune bar, after seeing a rave review of them on Chocolate Covered Vegan. I'll update on how I liked it tomorrow. Night!
