School's Out!

My day took a turn for the better around 11:30 today. There was a water main break in my county, and it affected about 15 schools' water and heat systems. So, we got to go home two and a half hours early! I really can't explain the logic of that, we had no problem at our school. I won't complain though! It was just another few hours of my twelve day break.

Food was pretty boring today. I didn't actually get any pictures until dinner. Meat eaters were eating gross meatiness, so I made a lurvely omelet.

I used one egg and one egg white, 2 cups of spinach, 1/2 cup mushrooms and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. I had it with some buttered toast and dried figgies, my favorites. I love breakfast for dinner! I also had this cookie
Poor little guy, he has a tumor!

I'm so excited that I'll be able to cook every single meal this break and not resort to sandwiches. And I'll actually be able to share all that I eat, rather than just one or two meals.

LOL your tumour cookie made me snort with laughter at the screen and earned me a weird look from my granny XD I love it when meat eaters are eating gross meatiness and you get to make something much nicer and veggie. Keep chugging along girlie!

Love your omelet! I dont do much with eggs, but if I eat them, omelets are the best way!! you can throw ANYTHING in there and it just keeps getting better!
